Reviews
"Volcanic history and rugged trails" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We were picked up right at 9:00 AM in a very comfortable air-conditioned van. The hike itself through the rugged lava fields is fascinating—it feels like walking on another planet. Our guide was great at explaining the history in the onsite museum before we headed up to the viewpoints. You can really feel the raw power of the landscape looking out over Lake Masaya. Henry made the booking so simple with the instant confirmation, which took all the stress out of our morning.

"Short, intense, and very professional" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I loved that this only took 3 hours, leaving us the afternoon to explore Granada. The climb to the panoramic viewpoints gives you a massive sense of scale of the craters. Even though you can't go right to the fiery edge during the day hike, the trail through the greenery and old lava flows is beautiful. The English-speaking guide from Abdalah was a total pro and knew exactly where the best photo spots were. Definitely worth the $35!

"Great mix of activity and culture" ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The museum access was a nice surprise; it really helped put the volcanic history into perspective before we started walking. It’s a bit of a workout on the trails, so I was glad I didn't wear sandals. The group dynamic was fun, and we made it back to the city exactly by noon as promised. 4 stars only because it was quite windy at the top, but the views of the active volcano surroundings are unbeatable. Great service from the Hola Hola team.
